Clery Compliance Officer
Consistent with the University’s Compliance and Integrity program, the Clery Compliance Officer is responsible for managing NC State’s compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act 20 U.S.C. §1092 (f), commonly known as the Clery Act. The Clery Compliance Officer (CCO) provides leadership and works collaboratively with various offices throughout the University to develop policies, procedures, activities and protocols to ensure the institution’s complete compliance with all provisions of the Clery Act.
The CCO maintains a collaborative working relationship with the University’s designated Responsible Officials to efficiently communicate program information and activities. The CCO is responsible for interpreting the Clery Act and developing policies and practices that result in accuracy and compliance with all Clery provisions.
